Affinessence selected three natural cedar essences — Atlas from Morocco, Texas and Virginia — and dosed them precisely to make the most precious and refined of natural raw materials vibrate perfectly: Iris Pallida, the Florentine iris absolute. A tear of benzoin and another of myrrh round this woody-powdery structure with their tender caress, while guaiac wood, jostled by incense, lends it nerve. A thoroughbred, intense trail and a musky sensitivity speak at once in this troublemaker of the senses.
