Les Eaux Primordiales

Les Eaux Primordiales is a French perfume manufacture founded in 2015 in Northern France by Arnaud Poulain — a man of rare duality, part engineer, part olfactory architect — who set out to create a house where science and emotion exist in perfect, seamless harmony. The name is borrowed from Jules Verne’s Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea, evoking the primordial waters at the very origin of life on Earth — a fitting metaphor for a house devoted to returning perfumery to its purest, most essential roots. Every fragrance is crafted entirely at Arnaud’s own Domaine Primordial, from creation to bottling, using a unique maceration and maturation process that draws on quantum physics to achieve compositions of extraordinary depth and longevity. The iconic minimalist flacon — structured, androgynous, and radically stripped of excess — is itself a tribute to industrial photography and the Düsseldorf school of art, making each bottle as visually compelling as its contents are emotionally resonant. Les Eaux Primordiales is perfumery at its most sincere — rooted in craft, driven by curiosity, and built on the belief that a truly great fragrance should feel like the beginning of something.
