Nasomatto
Founded in 2007 by perfumer Alessandro Gualtieri, Nasomatto — Italian for “crazy nose” — is one of niche perfumery’s most uncompromising houses. Its philosophy is radical yet simple: a fragrance should capture an intense emotion or state of mind, not merely smell pretty. Each creation is a concentrated extrait de parfum, presented in a minimalist bottle crowned with a hand-finished wooden cap. Gualtieri works without compromise, releasing a scent only once it provokes a genuine reaction — from the almost narcotic Black Afgano to the bold Baraonda and the luminous Silver Musk. Here beauty is optional and feeling is the point: fragrance as raw, honest self-expression. Nasomatto doesn’t follow trends — it chases emotion, and dares you to feel it too.
